In 1987 "Trading In Serious Toys" was born as a car and boat shop that did it all with wild success. The hottest boats and cars were packed in and piled high waiting for the next innovative paint job and fix me up. Nothing was out the question. "Anything goes" was our motto; and so it went until 2000 when things changed ... The owner and a group of friends were out for a run along a Jersey Shore boardwalk. As luck would have it, we were all wearing a "Serious Toys" baseball cap of one kind or another. (Did we mention that through the years the owner had made a handful of baseball caps which he gave away to friends and clients? They were very sought after and rare to see, since you had to know him to get one and he had to like you to give you one. But as we said, that was then ...) During that morning run a number of people along the way asked, "Where can I get one of those hats?". Well, later over our coffee we all looked at each other and decided that we should produce the hats for others. And so "Serious Toys" was born. What started with a simple baseball cap is fast growing into a full apparel line. We now offer a variety of t-shirts, polo shirts and hats. Our company also began sponsoring a player on the Futures Golf Tour. We hope to continue our growth in developing this line to offer as many items as possible.
